You can cook this on any heat-source that you can find, whether its a fire pit, a barbecue or even a camp fire. Just follow the really simple steps below and you’ll be thinking of taking more camping trips just so you can make this recipe again!
Here are the ingredients:
- 1 firm banana (per person)
- Chocolate spread ( Nutella, choc chip buds etc)
- Chrushed nuts or mini marshmallows (optional)
- Aluminium Foil
Quick tip: None of these ingredients in this recipe need to be refrigerated so you can enjoy this dessert on literally any camping trip no matter where you are!
How to make it:
-
First leave the peel on and cut each banana down the middle lengthwise
-
Fill the gap with nutella, choc chip or other chocolate
-
Press nuts or mini marshmallows inside as well
-
Wrap the banana with aluminium foil and lay it down on hot coals for approx 5-8 minutes until
the chocolate is melted
-
Eat while warm =)
Extra bonus tip: Bring two of everything because once you’ve finished your first choccy banana you’ll be wishing you had another!
