Here’s a healthier alternative to our chocolate bananas recipe - this one is just as delicious and may even be just as sweet.
This recipe is great for campfire gatherings and is sure to be a hit with the kids and grown-ups alike!
Ingredients:
- 1 Firm Banana (per person)
- Bottle of Honey
- Cinnamon
- Lemon Juice (optional)
- Aluminium Foil
How to make it:
- Cut your self a larger piece of the aluminium foil
- Slice the banana crosswise and place on top of the foil (you can also cut into bite size pieces)
- Drizzle honey, lemon juice and cinnamon all over the banana (you can use as much as you like, it depends on your personal taste)
- Close the side of the aluminium foil, make sure all seams are closed tightly (so the honey does not leak). Place the packet on a hot grill or coals at your campfire and cook for 7 minutes on each side.
- Carefully open the packet, let it cool, but best to eat while still warm. Enjoy!
